Kristin Norris was an outside hitter while at Lawrence North High School and played club volleyball at Circle City. She played her first two years of college at IUPUI (Div. I) before transferring to Purdue University to focus on academics. Being a college athlete was a big commitment, but she found that coaching summer camps for Ohio State University and club volleyball in Indianapolis still allowed her to love the game. She took a hiatus from volleyball as her professional career took off, but rediscovered her passion for the game as a women’s doubles beach volleyball player. Kristin volunteers with the Zionsville volleyball feeder programs and enjoys helping kids understand the strategy of the game.
Kristin earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Indiana University and has been working at IUPUI since 2007 in both faculty and administrative roles. In her free time she enjoys playing beach volleyball, running, and lots of outdoor sports with her kids.
